#KickCancer "Pink Match" this Saturday Afternoon

(Las Vegas, NV) - Using its platform as a professional sports team locally to help raise awareness for important causes around the valley, Lights FC, Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada & Desert Radiology are teaming up this Saturday afternoon for a special "#KickCancer" themed match.

Special activities planned, include...:

Players wearing specially designed pink jerseys during match.

Special on-field halftime ceremony honoring cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.

Cashman Field's soccer pitch will feature pink colored lines & soccer nets (instead of traditional white lines).

Pink "rally towels" handed out to fans upon entry courtesy of Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada.

"This is an important cause -- and one that we are proud to help raise local awareness," said Lights FC Owner & C.E.O. Brett Lashbrook. "Our annual 'Pink Game' has quickly become an October tradition for us at Cashman Field."

Salute to Service & Hospitality Workers Presented by De Castroverde Law:

Las Vegas is the greatest city to visit, live, work and play - and it's due to our amazing hospitality & service workers. And to thank them, De Castroverde Law Group has partnered with Lights FC to show its appreciation to all these local workers (and their families). Every type of hospitality & service workers are eligible to receive the free tickets -- e.g., casinos, restaurants, transportation, etc. And each of their family members (who we know often are home on weekend nights while their loved ones work across the City).

Visit LightsFC.com/DeCastroverde and submit your request for free General Admission ticket(s) to any home match in October. The first 1,000 submissions will be granted. For clarity, all immediate family members of hospitality & service workers are also eligible to participate.

1st Annual Lights FC Cornhole Tournament:

In cooperation with the Las Vegas Cornhole organization, Lights FC is hosting a first of its kind cornhole tournament during Saturday afternoon's home match. The competition will feature teams of two (2) people each in tournament style format. All matches will occur along the sidelines of the grass field at Cashman Field. The tournament will begin during pre-game warm-ups of the Lights FC match and will continue throughout the Lights FC match.

Entry is $80 per team ($40 person) and includes a free Lights FC match ticket. Cash prizes will be awarded from 50% of the registration fees to the first, second and third place winners. Specifically, 1st place will be awarded 50% of the prize pool, 2nd place will be awarded 30% of the prize pool, and 3rd place will be awarded 20% of the prize pool.

Following Saturday afternoon's match, Lights FC will play its final regular home match on Saturday, October 30th at 7pm versus the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Tickets for both remaining 2021 season home matches are available for purchase at LightsFC.com/Tickets.
