Cedar Rapids, IA - The start of the Kernels 2016 season is less than a month away and a sure sign that the season is close is the opening of the Kernels Ticket Office and Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop.

The Kernels Ticket Office opens for the 2016 season next Monday, March 14th at 10 AM. Fans can purchase individual game tickets to the 2016 Midwest League All-Star Game, presented by the Cedar Rapids Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, as well as tickets to each of the Kernels 70 home games for the 2016 season.

Tickets will be available online through the Kernels website at www.kernels.com, in person at Veterans Memorial Stadium, or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at (319) 896-7560. Ticket office hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday.

The Kernels Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop, located in Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium, offers a full line of MWL All-Star Game, Kernels and Twins merchandise including hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, game-worn and game-used items and more. The Diamond Shop is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday.
