March 7, 2016 - Midwest League (MWL1)
South Bend Cubs News Release
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Cubs Opening Day VIP Package for its home opener against the West Michigan Whitecaps on Thursday, April 7 has sold out. This special offer, presented by Budweiser, sold out in just 25 minutes.
"There has never been a more exciting time to be a South Bend baseball fan," said Team President Joe Hart. "I would expect the same high demand for many of our games when individual game tickets go on sale on Wednesday. I would encourage everyone looking for a ticket to a specific game to purchase them early."
Due to the overwhelming popularity of the VIP Ticket Package, the club has extended the offer to now include Friday, April 8. The package will still include a Budweiser Picnic Garden seat, two-hour all-you-can-eat ballpark buffet (includes soda), two drink vouchers (must be at least 21 years old) and a South Bend Cubs hat.
Like the Opening Day package, only 200 VIP packages will be available for Friday, April 8 and available for only $30. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the South Bend Cubs Main Office or by calling (574) 235-9988. Ticket packages will not be available online.
