Kernels Release 2022 Game Schedule

Cedar Rapids Kernels News Release
Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels in conjunction with Major League Baseball have released their 2022 schedule. The Kernels will play in the West Division of the 12-team High-A Central League.
The Kernels open the 132-game season at home on Friday, April 8th with a three-game series against Beloit. The Kernels will play 66 home games in 2022 between April 8th and September 11th. The Kernels have nine home games in April, 18 home games in May, 12 home games in June, nine home games in July, 12 home games in August and six in September.
The Kernels will release game times, promotions and other 2022 season details at a later date.
The Kernels begin their final six-game series of 2021 tomorrow against the Peoria Chiefs with a one-game lead in the playoff race against the Great Lakes Loons. The Kernels magic number to qualify for the HAC League Championship Series against Quad Cities is six.
