
Kennedy and Severyn Join Comets

Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations, Pat Conacher, announced today that the team has signed forwards Patrick Kennedy and C.J. Severyn to professional tryout contracts (PTO).
Kennedy, 25, has played in 18 games this season for the Evansville Icemen of the ECHL, and recorded 12 points (4-8-12) and 12 penalty minutes. The Dorchester, ON native has 64 points (23-41-64) in 120 career ECHL games.
Severyn, 24, has played four games for the American Hockey League's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, and 19 games with the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears this season. In 19 games with the Solar Bears, the Beaver, PA native has netted 17 points (6-11-17) and 66 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-1, 185 lb. forward was drafted by the Calgary Flames in 186th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
