Second Season Sub-plots

The South Carolina Stingrays dropped game four of their best of five game series against the Columbia Inferno last night. The series is now tied at two games a piece.

Cail MacLean got his first two goals of the post season last night.

Trent Campbell is fourth in the league with his two short-handed points in the post-season.

The Rays will play a decisive game five at home on Monday night.

The Cincinnati Cyclones staved off elimination by defeating the Reading Royals 4-2 in game six of their best of seven game series. They are now tied up three games each.

The Utah Grizzlies defeated the Victoria Salmon Kings 1-0 last night and now have a 3-1 series lead in their best of seven game series.

Blast From the Past

In 1997, on their way to winning their first Kelly Cup Championship, the South Carolina Stingrays had to play two decisive game fives. The first came against the Hampton Roads Admirals in the second round, and then against Pensacola in the Semifinals. This season, the Rays have already played two decisive game fives, winning them both, with a third on tap.
