MILWAUKEE, WI (April 24, 2007) -- It's more than just a soccer tournament.

The Keith Tozer 3 v 3 Charity Soccer Tournament is a memorial, a fund raiser and a weekend of active fun. The 13th annual event will be Aug. 4-5 at Uihlein Soccer Park, 7101 W. Good Hope Road, Milwaukee.

Coach Tozer and his wife, Ranee, founded the tournament in memory of their son, Graham, who died in 1989.

"With Graham's death, we started our crusade to help others by raising money and awareness, and by lending a helping hand," Tozer said. "The individuals we have met through the tournament have enriched our entire family and have become lifetime friends."

Beneficiaries of this year's tournament are the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) and the Wave of Kindness, which aims to make soccer accessible to inner-city youth.

Register your team today. Boys/co-ed and girls brackets range from U6-U18. Adult divisions are for women, men, men over 30 and co-ed teams. Up to six players are permitted on a team. Registration is $150 per team and includes a minimum of three games, a T-shirt, a game ticket for the 2007-08 Milwaukee Wave season and the opportunity to meet Wave Head Coach Keith Tozer. First- and second-place teams in each bracket will receive awards.

But there is much more. From noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 4, Milwaukee Wave players will participate in a special autograph session. Both days, a raffle drawing and silent auction will be held, featuring valuable prizes. If your best sport is shopping, browse through the Vendor Village. And save your soda can tabs; they will be recycled with proceeds benefiting the tournament.

If you want to go the extra mile for the MACC Fund, participate in the Finding Friends program. You can raise extra funds through pledges; the top three fundraisers in excess of $100 will win a Trek bike, a Wave package or an overnight stay at Kalahari Wisconsin Dells. Raise a minimum of $20 online and your name will be entered into a drawing to win a Trek bike..
