Vermont Frost Heaves News Release
Quebec City - The Vermont Frost Heaves fell to the Quebec City Kebekwa 109-102 tonight in Quebec City. The Kebs jumped out to a 37-22 lead at the end of one quarter and never really looked back. The Frost Heaves outscored the Kebs in the fourth quarter 32-21 but it wasn't enough to overcome the earlier deficit.
The Frost Heaves were lead by Greg Plummer with 18 points and Thomas Sanders with 17, and a couple of Sanders last minute steals and dunks to make the final score closer. Quebece was lead by Michael Anderson with 24 points and Dominic Soucy and Charles Fortier with 21 points each.
The Frost Heaves travel to Montreal to take on the Sasquatch, a 133-113 loser to Manchester tonight. Game time is 7:30 at the Pierre Charbeneau Center.
