
Karlsson Acquired from Louisiana

Southaven, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings made a move on this trade deadline day as forward Mike Tuomi was traded to the Louisiana IceGators for defenseman Tobias Karlsson.
"We're very excited to have Tobias join the RiverKings family," RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser said. "He's going to stabilize our back end and provide veteran leadership in all situations."
Karlsson, a thrid-year professional, comes to the RiverKings after posting 15 points in 45 games for the IceGators this season. He has spent his entire professional career with the 'Gators.
Tuomi played in 42 games with the RiverKings, tallying 32 points (16G, 16A).
The RiverKings hit the ice tomorrow morning at 10:05 against the Huntsville Havoc for the second Face Off Field Trip of the season. The game streams live on the America One television network as well as on radio-memphis.com.
