
Kaniel Dickens rejoins Stampede

Boise, Idaho (January 24, 2005) â The Idaho Stampede has reactivated forward Kaniel Dickens following his stint in the NBA, according to Head Coach Joe Wolf. Dickens will be in the lineup tomorrow night when the Stampede hosts the Dakota Wizards at the Idaho Center.
Dickens, who was leading the CBA in points per game prior to his NBA call-up on Dec. 8, 2004, played in 11 games for the New Jersey Nets. He was released by the Nets on January 5, but re-signed to a 10-day contract by the team on January 10. Dickens' 10-day contract ended Thursday and he returned to Idaho over the weekend.
The Stampede also placed forward Bryan Christiansen on Injured Reserve (plantar fasciitis).
The Stampede begins a seven game home stand tomorrow. Door open at 6 p.m. with tip-off at 7:10 p.m. The Michigan Mayhem comes to town for games Friday and Saturday nights. The Mayhem, with recently signed Olden Polynice, will be making its first ever appearance in Idaho.
