Kalamazoo Growlers News Release
KALAMAZOO, MI - On Friday, December 21st, from 6-8:30 PM the Kalamazoo Growlers are hosting The Ballpark Holiday Fest at Homer Stryker Field. The festival's activities include: a video board showing of "Elf", hot chocolate and popcorn, games and inflatables, snow themed events (weather dependent), and photos with Santa and team mascot Porter.
The festival will attract families from all over Southwest Michigan looking for a unique, family friendly function, and a way to kick off their students' winter break from school.
Vice President Brian Colopy said, "Our fans have a lot of fun at our games. We thought, why can't we do that year round? The fun doesn't have to stop when our baseball season does."
The Ballpark Holiday Fest is the first event in a series of off-season celebrations the Growlers are planning this year. Other events include Family Fest (Spring 2019), Movie Nights on the field (Summer 2019) and a Ballpark Carnival (Fall 2019).
This is a free event for all 365-Game Plan holders. Fans can learn more about how to attend the event on the team's website, growlersbaseball.com.
