Kai Greene Earns USLC Team of the Week Honors

SEASIDE, Calif. - Following Monterey Bay's second consecutive shutout over the weekend, and amidst a stretch where the Union defense has allowed just one goal in the previous 270 minutes, defender Kai Greene has been recognized on USL Championship's Team of the Week for Week 19.
Greene earns league top-11 honors following an impressive performance against Detroit City FC in which the New Jersey native played a crucial role in the team's clean sheet on the night. Greene recorded a season-high nine clearances in the match, the highest total in a single game for Monterey Bay F.C. this season, and added four tackles, a blocked shot, and an interception. In addition, Greene won six of nine duels and finished with a 75.6% pass success rate.
