K-Wings Eating With The Big Dogs

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce that the KC's Auto Land K-Wings' Freestar along with Devin Featherstone, Andrew Fournier, Olivier Legault, and Kalamazoo's favorite mascot, Slappy will be visiting Backyard Big Dog tomorrow, January 29th from 4-6 p.m.

The members of the K-Wings will be on hand to sign autographs and to cheer on the competitors of the Backyard Big Dog's first-ever hot dog eating challenge.

The contest will feature 1/2 lb. foot long hot dogs, with each dog being placed on a bun with mustard. The person that consumes the most hot dogs in 20 minutes and held down for five minutes after completion of the contest will be donned the winner.

Registration is $8.00 and fans can pre-register by calling (269) 353-3253. Contestants can start showing up at 4 p.m. and the contest will begin at 5 p.m.

If you win this challenge, Big Dog will pay for your registration. Winner will also be honored by being the first on the Big Dog wall of fame and to have the honor of being the first and setting the precedence for others to follow in your honor, free registration for other eating contests, and a My dog is bigger than your dog t- shirt.

Backyard Big Dog is located at 7000 Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
