K-Wings Announce Schedule for Turner Cup Semi-Finals and Playoff Slogan

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce the schedule for their Turner Cup Semi-Final playoff match-up versus the Fort Wayne Komets.

The format for the K-Wings-Komets series will be 1-1-1-1-1-1-1, with Fort Wayne, the Huber Trophy winners, owning home ice in the series. Kalamazoo will begin their post-season journey on Friday, April 17th at 8p.m. with game one of the semi-finals at Allen County Memorial Coliseum.

Returning to Kalamazoo the following night on Saturday, April 18th, the K-Wings will host game two of the best-of-seven at 7:30 p.m.

While supplies last, fans that attend game two will receive a FREE rally towel courtesy of the United Kennel Club.

Kalamazoo's second home game in the series will be game four on Wednesday, April 22nd at 7 p.m. While supplies last, fans attending the contest will receive a FREE pair of Thundersticks courtesy of Jaspare's Pizza and Fine Italian Food and J.R. Electrical.

The following is a breakdown of dates for the K-Wings' semi-final match-up against the Komets:

Friday, April 17th @ Fort Wayne 8:00 PM (Turner Cup Playoffs: Semi-Finals, Game One)

Saturday, April 18th Vs Fort Wayne 7:30 PM (Turner Cup Playoffs: Semi-Finals, Game Two)

Sunday, April 19th @ Fort Wayne 6:00 PM (Turner Cup Playoffs: Semi-Finals, Game Three)

Wednesday, April 22nd Vs Fort Wayne 7:00 PM (Turner Cup Playoffs: Semi-Finals, Game Four)

*Friday, April 24th @ Fort Wayne 8:00 PM (Turner Cup Playoffs: Semi-Finals, Game Five)

*Saturday, April 25th Vs Fort Wayne 7:30 PM (Turner Cup Playoffs: Semi-Finals, Game Six)

The K-Wings also announce that the slogan for this year's postseason will be "Code Red." The slogan will be used for marketing during the K-Wings playoff run.

Individual playoff tickets are on sale now to the general public at a later date. Tickets for K-Wings home games in the postseason will range from $10.90 (Blue Level)-$15.90 (Red Level). Seats for kids 12 and under will cost $7.90. Ticket will increase $1 on day of game purchases.

Playoff strip packages for one-year season ticket holders or new playoff strip purchasers will range from $87.20 (Blue Level)-$127.20 (Red Level). Strips for kids 12 and under will be $63.20.

Packages for current two-year season ticket holders will range from $82 (Blue Level)-$120 (Red Level). Strips for kids 12 and under that are two-year season ticket holders will be $56.
