Smokin' Sanchez - Karexon Sanchez extended his team best hitting streak to 13 games last night, the third longest streak in the CL this season. Brandon Short of the Dash has the longest streak this season at 21 games. Sanchez has four of the K-Tribe's eleven hits over the last three games. Sanchez leads the team with 11 rbi and 13 walks; he is hitting .354 with a homer and eight rbi during the hit streak. His 448 OBP is 3rd in Carolina League, .329 batting average is 10th.
Long Time, Tiny Streak - Jordan Henry returned to the lineup after an 18 game absence due to a sprained finger. Henry has a hit (one single) in each of his six games this season. He has a .500 obp, having drawn six walks as well this season. He was taken out of the game last night for precautions as they will ease him back into the lineup.
