Kinston Indians News Release
Streaky Start - Coming into the final game of this three game set, the K-Tribe has lost four in a row and the Dash has won four in a row.
What a Start - Cleveland's Low A Affiliate, the Lake County Captains, made the move from the South Atlantic League to the Midwest League this year with great results. The Captains started the year a franchise record 9-0, finally losing their first game of the season last night 6-2 to Fort Wayne. They were the last team in all of professional baseball to lose a game this season.
Welcome Back AD - The versatile Adam Davis is brought up to the K-Tribe from extended Spring Training as Jordan Henry is put on the DL with a finger sprain. Davis played 114 games for Kinston last season, playing every position except pitcher, catcher and first base. He played catcher for the K-Tribe for four games in 2008. Davis got off to a rough start last season, hitting .196 before the All Star Break. He ended up hitting .228 with eight home runs last season.
