
K-Hawks Pick Matt Giles in Dispersal Draft

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Knighthawks selected forward Matt Giles with the 10th overall pick in the 2003 National Lacrosse League Dispersal Draft earlier today.
Giles led the Ottawa Rebel with 60 points (34+26) in 16 games during the 2002-03 season. Giles is a 6-3, 240-pound forward from Peterborough, Ontario.
In the second round (21st overall), Rochester picked 6-2, 220-pound defenseman Shawn Zettel. The Kitchener, Ontario, native finished second on the Rebel with 45 penalty minutes in 13 games last season. The Knighthawks passed on their third-round pick.
The results of the Dispersal Draft are available on the league's official website, www.nll.com. Goalie Matt Disher was selected first overall by the Anaheim franchise.
