Boise Hawks News Release
The Boise Hawks, in conjunction with the Chicago Cubs, have announced that catcher Justin Marra has been promoted from Extended Spring Training and will join the Boise Hawks in time for tonight's season opener at Salem-Keizer.
Marra, a 15th Round pick in the 2011 Draft out of St. Joseph Secondary School in Etobicoke, Ont., was a member of the Canaidan Junior National Team before joining the Cubs organization. He did not see game action in 2011 - as he looks for his professional debut.
His addition gives Boise 23 players (12 pitchers, two catchers, five infielders, four outfielders) in uniform for tonight's game.
First pitch is set for 8:05 p.m. (MT) - with play-by-play coverage on 93.1 KTIK-FM.
