
Justin Alonzo Named Sons of Hockey Star of the Week

Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Port Huron Prowlers forward Justin Alonzo has been selected as the Sons of Hockey Star of the Week for the period ending March 20, 2016.
Alonzo recorded a season high five points in a 6-0 win on Friday against the Brewster Bulldogs. Justin scored two goals and helped on three others on the way to the win.
Justin also recorded multiple points in three of Port Huron's four games on the weekend with a week total of four goals, six assists and a plus/minus of +3.
A 27-year-old native of San Jose, CA, is in his fourth professional season. In 47 regular season games Alonzo has recorded 28 goals and 51 assists good for third in scoring for the FHL.
Justin joined the Federal Hockey League last season after spending four seasons with Castleton State College.
Justin is the sixth Prowlers player to be named Star of the Week after Jared Hicks (Nov 13-15), Ahmed Mahfouz (Dec 4-6), Mark Rivera (Dec 11-13), Chris Levielle (Jan 25-31), and Andy DiCristofaro (Mar 7-13).
