Jupiter Hammerheads Playoff Tickets on Sale Tomorrow

JUPITER, FL - With the final two weeks of the season approaching, the Jupiter Hammerheads are closing in on their first playoff berth in nine seasons.

At the time of release, Jupiter currently leads in the Southern Division standings by 1.5 games. If they finish in first place and win the second half championship outright, they will earn a playoff spot. Jupiter can also make the post-season as a Wild Card in the event that the St. Lucie Mets win the second half title, as they also won the first half. The Wild Card is awarded to the team with the next best overall record which the Hammerheads currently lead by 8.5 games.

Game 1 of the Division Championship would be hosted by the Jupiter Hammerheads at Roger Dean Stadium on Tuesday, September 4 at 6:35 p.m. The complete schedule for the best-of-three series is as follows:

Game 1 - St. Lucie Mets @ Jupiter Hammerheads, Sept. 4 at 6:35 p.m.

Game 2 - Jupiter Hammerheads @ St. Lucie Mets, Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Game 3 (if necessary) - Jupiter Hammerheads @ St. Lucie Mets, Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

Hammerheads' season ticket holders will receive free tickets equivalent to the number of tickets they own. For fans that have purchased a Duffy's 12-Pack, any remaining vouchers can be redeemed for a playoff ticket. For those that have previously purchased a 12-Pack but have run out of vouchers, they will receive a buy one, get one free playoff ticket for each pack. Groups of 15 or more people can purchase tickets for $5.50 each. A free Hammerheads hat will also be given away (while supplies last) for every 15 tickets bought in a group. Additionally, Knothole Gang and Silver Slugger memberships will be honored for the playoff date. Members will get free admission to the game, but will not receive the free hot dog and soda.

Individual tickets are $8.50 for adults, and $6.50 for children 12 & under and seniors 55 & over.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22nd . They can be purchased at the Roger Dean Stadium Ticket Office or at TicketMaster.com. Additional information can be found at JupiterHammerheads.com, RogerDeanStadium.com or by calling (561) 630-1828.

The Hammerheads roster boasts seven of the Marlins' top eight prospects, headlined by center fielder Christian Yelich. He leads Jupiter in batting average and is challenging Logan Morrison's franchise record of .332 (2008). The pitching staff is anchored by Miami's top pitching prospect, Jose Fernandez, who was promoted to Jupiter at mid-season. Yelich, along with Marcell Ozuna, J.T. Realmuto, Michael Brady and Raudel Lazo were all recognized as first half FSL All-Stars.
