
Juniors Take a Two Game Lead

The Montreal Juniors beat the Halifax Mooseheads by a 6 to 0 score to take a two game lead in this best-of-seven series.
In the first period, David Rose opened the scoring with his first of the playoffs. Louis Leblanc then doubled his team's lead in the following frame, with his second of the playoffs.
In the third period, the Montreal offense really went to work, scoring four times. First, Nicolas Chouinard scored his second of the playoffs on a shorthanded breakaway. Then, Jérémy Gouchie notched his first of the postseason, followed by Louis Leblanc, his second of the game, and Raphaël Pouliot, his first of the playoffs.
Halifax goaltender Frédéric Piché stopped 28 of the 34 pucks fired his way, while Montreal's Jean-François Bérubé turned away all 31 shots he faced. Jean-François Bérubé(MTL), Nicolas Chouinard (MTL) and Louis Leblanc (MTL) were respectively named first, second and third star of the game.
The series now shifts to Halifax for game three on Tuesday, March 29th at 6:00pm eastern.
