Juniors Make Big Changes To Roster On Draft Weekend

Montreal, June 5th, 2010 - The Montreal Juniors Hockey Club was active in Drummondville, where the 2010 QMJHL draft was taking place.
Cape Breton Screaming Eagles traded defensive player Francis Meilleur (90-09-20) to Montreal in return of a 6th round pick in 2012.
The Montreal Juniors then acquired defensive player Charles Landry (91-06-03) and forward Philippe Lefebvre (91-02-28) from Drummondville's Voltigeurs, thus trading their 1st round pick in 2010 and another 1st round pick in 2011.
Shawinigan traded their 4th round pick 2010 to the Montreal Juniors in exchange for their own 4th round pick 2010 and a 6th round pick in 2011.
Montreal traded to the Gatineau Olympiques their 2nd round pick while acquiring center Denis Kindl (92-08-04).
Moreover, Montreal traded Loic Poudrier (92-07-07) and defensive player Dillon Donnelly (93-09-07) to Shawinigan's Cataractes. In the trade, Montreal also traded their 1st round pick in 2010, a 4th round pick in 2011 and acquired Defensive player Charles-Olivier Roussel (91-09-13).
Anthony Courcelles is sent to Rouyn-Noranda while Montreal acquired a 9th round pick for this year's draft
Lewiston Maineiacs traded ttoday's 4th round pick in return of a 3rd round pick in 2011.
Finally, the Club traded forward Guillaume Asselin (92-09-09) and a first round pick in 2011 to the Chicoutimi's Saguenéens in return of center Louis Leblanc (91-01-26) and a 3rd round pick in 2011.
