Montreal Juniors News Release

Montreal jumped out to a 2-0 lead and didn't look back in a 5-1 win over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies before a sold out Verdun Auditorium filled with students from the Lester B. Pearson School Board.

Montreal was paced by two goal performances from Jeremy Gouchie and Louis-Marc Aubry who continues his hot play of late. Montreal's other goal came from Denis Kindl on the power play. The Huskies loan goal came in the third period by Jeremi Janneteau, to spoil Etienne Marcoux's shutout bid. Marcoux turned aside 26 of 27 shots fired his way, while Mickael Audette made 32 saves in a losing cause for Rouyn-Noranda.

NOTES: Montreal continues it's homestand with a game this Friday at 7:05 vs Shawinigan and then Sunday afternoon at 3:05pm vs Drummonville.
