Julseth-White Returns to Wranglers Blue Line

Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced Thursday that defenseman Nolan Julseth-White has agreed to terms with the team for the 2013-14 season.

Julseth-White, 25, made his rookie debut with the Wranglers last season, posting three goals and 18 assists. His performance in Las Vegas earned him two American Hockey League call-ups, and the 6-foot-2, 205-pound blueliner appeared in four games with the San Antonio Rampage and one with the Providence Bruins.

"Nolan is coming into his second year as a professional, but his maturity is far beyond that," said Wranglers Head Coach and General Manager Mike Madill. "He is a tremendous athlete who plays every game like it's the playoffs. If he gets a chance to climb to the American League, we may never get him back, but we're excited that he's chosen to start the year with us. He's another true professional who logs a lot of minutes."

A native of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Julseth-White tallied 18 assists in four years (2008-12) at Union College. He captained the Dutchmen his senior year, and led Union College to their first Frozen Four appearance in 2012. Prior to college, Julseth-White recorded 29 goals and 81 assists in four seasons (2004-08) with the Chilliwack Chiefs and Langley Chiefs of the British Columbia Hockey League.

"I'm excited to come back and play for a great organization and fans," said Julseth-White. "With the group returning, I know Mike [Madill] will put together a winning product that is hungry for a championship."
