Aiken Foxhounds News Release
The Bradenton Juice (10-7) handed the Aiken Foxhounds (13-5) their first loss at Roberto Hernandez Stadium, downing the Hounds 4-0 Thursday night. Juice starter Lavelle Morgan tossed a one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts, allowing just a two-out single to Aiken pitcher Anthony Telford in the bottom of the fifth.
Drew York went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI for the Juice. Julius Thames added two hits.
Evandy DeLeon reached base twice for the Foxhounds on a walk and a hit by pitch. Telford (0-2) took the loss in relief of injured starter Tim Drew, who left with one out in the second inning.
The Hounds and the Juice play again tomorrow at Hernandez Stadium at 7:05 PM.
