(Aiken, SC) The Aiken Foxhounds released their 2008 regular season schedule today.

The Foxhounds are one of four teams playing in the realigned, second year South Coast League. Each team will complete an 84-game schedule.

Aiken travels to archrival Anderson to open the season on Thursday, May 15, the first of a seven game road trip. The Foxhounds then return for their home debut against the Joes on Thursday, May 22.

This season, the Foxhounds will entertain the home crowd 39 times: five games on Mondays, five games on Tuesdays, four games on Wednesdays, six games on Thursdays, six games on Fridays, seven games on Saturdays, and six games on Sundays.

Aiken will play their archrival from Anderson and the two teams from Georgia 28 times apiece, with the Anderson Joes and South Georgia Peanuts visiting 14 times each and the Macon Music visiting Roberto Hernandez Stadium 11 times.

The Foxhounds close out the season against South Georgia on August 12. The final three game home stand starts August 10.

In 20007, the Foxhounds finished in the middle of the pack, but they will look to turn things around in 2008 and compete for the regular and post-season titles.
