Music Release 2008 Season Schedule

(Macon, GA) The Macon Music released their 2008 regular season schedule today.

The Music are one of four teams playing in the realigned, second year South Coast League. Each team will complete an 84-game schedule.

Macon opens the season at home against archrival South Georgia on Thursday, May 15, the first of a seven game home stand. The Music then make their season road debut against the Peanuts on Thursday, May 22.

This season, the Music will entertain the home crowd 47 times: five games on Mondays, six games on Tuesdays, seven games on Wednesdays, seven games on Thursdays, seven games on Fridays, nine games on Saturdays, and six games on Sundays.

Macon will play their archrival from South Georgia and the two teams from South Carolina 28 times apiece, with the Anderson Joes and South Georgia Peanuts visiting 15 times each and the Aiken Foxhounds visiting Luther Williams Field 17 times.

The Music close out the home portion of their schedule with a seven game home stand starting August 3. They conclude the regular season on the road on August 12, in Anderson, South Carolina.

In 2007, the Music finished the season as the second half champs and second overall. They will feature new managers and new players but will still offer tons of excitement in their second year.

The promotional schedule for all Macon Music home games will be released in the coming weeks.
