The Jr. Blues picked up an important 3-0 win over the Janesville Jets Friday night.
The Jr. Blues jumped out to the lead early in the first period when Matt Long scored a short handed, unassisted goal to give the Jr. Blues the 1-0 lead. Later in the first period, Trevor Stone found the back of the net off of assists from Josh Bell and Keenan Sabatini to extend the Jr. Blues lead to 2-0. In the second period Erich Fear extended the lead to 3-0 when he socred off assists from Stone and Josh Bell, which would be the game's final.
Tommy Nappier had 26 saves in the shutout win.
