José Mari and Chris Klute expected to participate in full training this week

Colorado Rapids News Release
The Colorado Rapids may be without leading striker Deshorn Brown for Saturday's trip to Chivas USA, as the Jamaican heads off on international duty, as well as the suspended Shane O'Neill (yellow card accumulation) but it appears that both José Mari and Chris Klute should be fit and ready to go.
In the 74th minute of Sunday's match against the Seattle Sounders FC, Colorado Rapids Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni was getting ready to sub out José Mari, who appeared to be holding his hamstring in discomfort. An ensuing injury, though, forced him to pull defender Chris Klute who experienced leg cramps and could no longer play, sending Marlon Hairston on in his place.
ColoradoRapids.com followed up with Mastroeni and the athletic training staff to get an update on the condition of both Jose Mari and Klute. Technical staff confirmed that Jose Mari experienced a slight twinge after making a long run down the sideline but that it was not major. He will likely take it easy during training on Tuesday, but is expected to be at full participation by the end of the week.
Klute suffered calf cramps during the second half, but no major injury and will not miss training sessions this week as a result.
The Rapids travel to Los Angeles this week to face Chivas USA on Saturday at StubHub Center, with an 8:30 p.m. kickoff (live on Altitude 2).
