
Jordan Brown Activated From Disabled List

The Buffalo Bisons today activated INF Jordan Brown from the disabled list. He is scheduled to play in the first game of tonight's doubleheader against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (5:30 p.m.)
Brown, 24, hit .271(26-96) with 10RBI and 15 runs scored in the first 25 games of the season. His 11 doubles are two more than any other hitter in the International League before being placed on the disabled list on May 1 with a left knee injury.
Brown has been his league's Most Valuable Player in each of the past two seasons. He led all of Double-A with a .333 batting average for the Akron Aeros of the Eastern League in 2007 (11HR, 76RBI). In 2006, Brown hit .290 with 13HR and 87RBI for Single-A Kinston of the Carolina League.
