
Jones Stops 40 as Petes Cage Bulldogs

(Peterborough, ON) - Hunter Jones stopped 40 shots and five skaters racked up multiple points in an 8- Petes win over the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs on Thursday night.
Brady Hinz (13, 14) scored twice to record his second straight multi-point game. J.R. Avon (4), Nick Robertson (41), Akil Thomas (21), Liam Kirk (21), Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (9), and Zach Gallant (31) tallied single goals.
Declan Chisholm recorded the third four-point night of his OHL career with four assists. Hinz, Gallant, Kirk, Der-Arguchintsev, Hudson Wilson, Jacob Paquette, Jack York, and Keegan McMullen record one assist each.
Final shots were 44-40 in favour of the Petes. The shutout was Jones' fourth of the season and seventh of his career. Peterborough went 2/4 on the power play and 4/4 on the penalty kill.
The Petes are back in action at home on Saturday, March 7 to host the Mississauga Steelheads at 7:05pm.
