COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus Destroyers defensive lineman Ken Jones has been named to the Arena Football League's First Team All-Arena, the club and League announced today.

Jones (6-4, 295, South Carolina State), now in his fourth season with the Destroyers, is the franchise's all-time sacks leader with 16.5 (15UT-3AT). He shattered his own franchise single-season record of five sacks set last season, with 9.5 sacks (9UT-1AT) this season. The 27-year-old finished this season with 28.5 tackles (21UT-15AT), four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and four pass breakups.

Jones joins the following Destroyers' players who have earned end of the season League honors: Columbus Destroyers center Will Rabatin 2007 AFL All-Rookie Team; defensive back Jerald Brown 2006 First Team All-Arena and 2006 ADT Defensive Player of the Year; Buffalo Destroyers defensive specialist Dwaine Carpenter, 2003 Second Team All-Arena; kicker Steve McLaughlin, 2002 Second Team All-Arena.
