Jones Called Up To Worcester

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Matt Jones has been reassigned to the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.

Jones, who played 46 games last season with Worcester, began the season playing four games with the AHL Sharks.

In four games with the K-Wings, Jones has recorded three goals, one assist, and scored a game-winning shootout goal last Friday against Wheeling.

Kalamazoo will begin a three-game road swing this Wednesday, November 4th with a 10:30 a.m. face-off against Toledo.

The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium Friday, November 13th with a 7:30 p.m. encounter versus the Cincinnati Cyclones on Word of Life Night. The game on November 13th will also be the K-Wings first Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beer and $1 hot dogs.
