
John Mohring Invited To Training Camp

Montreal, Mar. 3, 2009 - Montreal Alouettes' Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp announced today that linebacker John Mohring has signed a one-year contract plus an option and is expected at the team's training camp this June.
A linebacker, Mohring (6'1'', 232 lbs) has both AFL and af2 experience, having played for the Orlando Predators, the Alabama Steeldogs, and the Grand Rapids Rampage. He finished fifth in team history with the Georgia Southern Eagles with 302 career tackles. In 2006, he finished third in the Southern Conference with 93 tackles and recorded 14 tackles for losses, two sacks, two interceptions and recovered a fumble. He is 24.
The Alouettes' training camp will begin this June 7.
