Boise, ID (December 1, 2004) — The Continental Basketball Association announced today that Sioux Falls Skyforce Head Coach Dave Joerger was named the League Coach of the Month for the month of November. The award marks the eighth monthly coaching honor for Joerger since the 2001-02 season, his first in the CBA as a head coach.

For the month, the Moorhead State (MN) alum led the Skyforce to a perfect 5-0 record (4-0 at home, 1-0 on the road) and a 6.0 quarter-point average, capturing 30 of a total 35 possible quarter-points. The Skyforce currently sits atop the Western Conference standings and is the league's only undefeated team.

Before coming to Sioux Falls this past off season, Joerger captained the Dakota Wizards for three seasons, leading them to two CBA Titles (2002, 2004), and earning League Coach of the Year honors in both seasons. He captured three Coach of the Month awards during the 2001-02 season (December, February, March), while adding two more during the 2002-03 season (November, December), and adding another two during the 2003-04 season (November, January).

Other coaches receiving consideration for November Coach of the Month honors were the Idaho Stampede's Joe Wolf (4.5 quarter-point average, 3-1 record), and the Great Lakes Storm's Russ Bergman (4.4 quarter-point average, 3-2 record).
