Great Lakes Storm News Release
Birch Run, MI (December 1, 2004) â The Great Lakes Storm won the game tonight against the Rockford Lightning 117-106 (6.0, 1.0) to move to 4-2 on the season. The victory over the Lightning is their fourth straight against an Eastern Conference foe as they have beaten every team in their conference at least once.
The Storm were once again led by Ezra Williams, who recently won the Player of the Week, with a game high 26 points along with six rebounds. The Storm took the first two quarters and Rockford came back and won the third quarter. The game was called rather tight as both teams were in foul trouble late in the game. Carson Cunningham provided a spark off the bench as he contributed 10 points but it was not enough as the Storm held off the late frenzy by the Lightning. Rockford guard Stais Boseman had 19 points and five assists against his former team. The Storm's next game is on Friday, December 3rd on the road against the Michigan Mayhem. Tip-off is set for 7:05 at L.C. Walker Arena in Muskegon.
Game Highlights:
STORM: Ezra Williams 26 points, 6 rebounds, 11-for-11 FT

Kasib Powell 25 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists
