
Joe Babik honored as ECHL Co-Broadcaster of the Year

Las Vegas, NV... Fresno Falcons Broadcaster and Media Relations Director Joe Babik was announced Tuesday as the 2008 ECHL Co-Broadcaster of the Year. Babik, who calls all Falcons home and away games on ESPN Radio 790 The Deuce in Fresno, was presented with his award at the ECHL's Annual Marketing Meetings held at Bally's in Las Vegas. Babik joins Wheeling Nailers' Broadcaster Brendan Burke as the ECHL's Co-Broadcasters of the Year for their respective conferences.
Joe Babik will be calling his third season of Falcons hockey starting October 18th at Stockton and opening at home on October 24th for the Falcons return to Selland Arena versus the Bakersfield Condors. For more information on Joe Babik's award please contact John Tull at 559-352-1173.
The Falcons invite all fans to Valdez Hall in downtown Fresno on Wednesday, June 18 from 5-9pm for Summer Blast 2008, a Hockey vs Hunger Food Drive and Jersey Auction to benefit Poverello House.
