With the Janesville Jets 3 -1 victory over the Coulee Region Chill on Saturday night, the Jets now have taken first place in the NAHL's MidWest Division. The Jets have an overall record of 18-4-2 for 38 points. The St. Louis Bandits also have played 24 games, but they have 37 total points with a 18-5-1 record. The Jets have the second best winning percentage amongst all 28 NAHL teams (.792).
Also, Jets goaltender Tony Kujava now has 25 regular season wins for the Jets spread over two years. The Jets all-time record is 26 set by David Jacobson last season. Kujava already owns the Jets all-time shutout record with 12, and leads the NAHL this season with 7.
The Janesville Jets next play at home on Friday, December 2nd versus the Chicago Hitmen (4-18-1). Opening face-off is 7 PM and doors open at 5:45 PM. The Diamond Center is the game night sponsor and will be providing complimentary logoed koozies.
After Friday's game, the Jets will battle the St. Louis Bandits in a three-game home series December 9-11. The Friday and Saturday games start at 7 PM and the Sunday December 11th game starts at 3 PM.
