Jets Finish Off Springfield, 5-2

(Fargo, ND) The FM Jets are currently looking like a team that definitely score as they roll up the visiting Springfield Jr. Blues 5-2 Friday night in Fargo.

The Jets fell behind on a power-play goal by Kyle Greco (Hillside, IL) with less than 6 minutes to go in the first. It didn't take long for the offense to get in gear as Pat Dietz (Moorhead, MN) netted his first of season with Cody Bottem (Thief River Falls, MN) adding his first to close out the opening period, 2-1 Jets.

Andrew Harrison (Temperance, MI) gave the Jets some breathing room in the second with his third of the season. After an easy goal for Cory Patterson (Huntington Beach, CA) the Blues made it 3-2.

The Jets put the game away late with help from an empty netter by Marc Harrie (Fargo, ND) held on for a 5-2 win. The Jets out shot Springfield 38-33 and picked up their third win in a row at home.
