
Former Jet Connolly Commits to BU

(Fargo, ND) In the wake of his third season of junior hockey, former F-M Jet Chris Connolly (Duluth, MN) has verbally committed to Boston University for 2008.
In two seasons with the Jets, Connolly finishing with 149 points (39G, 110A) in 134 total games including playoffs. Chris finished 8th in NAHL with 76 points last year. He is the all-time leading assist leader with 56 in 2006-2007 for the Jets.
"When he was here he was an exceptionally skilled player who wasn't one dimensional for us," Jet's head coach Chad Johnson said Friday.
Connolly was the second leading scorer for the Lancers during the preseason, scoring eight points on five goals and three assists.
"He has paid his dues and is getting what he deserves by attending a perennial powerhouse, Boston University," Johnson also added.
The University of Maine and Minnesota-Duluth also showed interest in Connolly.
