Jets Assign Steve Mason to Manitoba on a Conditioning Assignment

Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg Jets announced today that they have assigned goaltender Steve Mason to the Manitoba Moose on a conditioning assignment.

Mason, 29, has played in 11 games for the Jets this season and has a 3-6-1 record with a 3.52 goals-against average and a .897 save percentage. The Oakville, Ontario native is playing his first campaign with Winnipeg after spending his first 10 seasons in Columbus and Philadelphia. Mason has a 203-183-64 career record with a 2.70 GAA and a .911 SV%.

Mason was drafted by the Blue Jackets in the third round (69th overall) in the 2006 NHL Draft.
