Dallas Recalls Roope Hintz

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled forward Roope Hintz from the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Hintz, 21, ranks fourth on Texas with 15 goals and is tied for fifth on the team with 27 points (15-12=27) in 55 AHL games this season. Hintz also ranks third on the team with five power play goals and is tied for fourth with two game-winning goals in 2017-18.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Tampere, Finland was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (49th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, and currently playing their ninth season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
