
Wolf Pack Make Roster Moves

HARTFORD: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has released defenseman Joey Leach and goaltender Charles Williams from their Professional Tryout (PTO) agreements.
Leach, who was signed by the Wolf Pack February 19, suited up for five games with Hartford, going scoreless with five shots on goal. In 48 games with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL this year, Leach has four goals and 14 assists for 18 points, 59 penalty minutes and a +12.
Williams saw his first career AHL action during his latest tour with the Wolf Pack, which began on Thursday. In two games in the Wolf Pack net, totaling 80:35 of play, Williams allowed six goals on 31 shots, going 0-1-1. In 43 ECHL games with the Manchester Monarchs in 2017-18, Williams is 19-9-4, with a 2.56 goals-against average, a 91.8% save percentage and one shutout
The Wolf Pack's next action is a back-to-back set in Charlotte against the Checkers, starting with a 7:15 PM faceoff at Bojangles Coliseum on Friday. The next Wolf Pack home game is next Friday, March 16th, a 7:15 PM contest vs. the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. As at all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period, presented by Dave & Buster's.
