
Jesse Roeder named MWL Sports Turf Manager of the Year

Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball, in conjunction with the Midwest League announced that Jesse Roeder, Sports Turf Manager of the Cedar Rapids Kernels, has been named the 2005 Midwest League Sports Turf Manager of the Year.
The MWL Sports Turf Manager of the Year is decided based on votes by the leagues' umpire crews.
It is the first time in the history of the award it has been won by a Cedar Rapids Sports Turf Manager and breaks a string of several years being won by the Dayton Dragons.
