Jeferson Morales Reinstated off Injured List

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels have reinstated catcher Jeferson Morales from the 7-day injured list. With the addition of Morales, the Kernels active roster now stands at 25 players.

Morales was placed on the injured list with a concussion on June 14. This season with the Kernels, the catcher is slashing .232/.319/.384 for a .703 OPS with four doubles, a triple, four home runs and 20 RBI across 34 games. He recently completed a three-game rehab stint with the FCL Twins, going 2-for-9 (.222) with one homer and four RBI.
