Jaxx Make Roster Moves

JACKSON, TENN. (June 16, 2010) - The Seattle Mariners announced the following roster moves that effects the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx roster. RHP Mumba Rivera and INF Jeff Dominguez have been promoted to Triple-A Tacoma. The 29 year old Rivera was 0-3 with a 6.75 ERA with the Jaxx this season with 22 strikouts and 17 walks in 26.2 innings. Mumba was 0-2 in 13 games for Tacoma in 2008. Jeff Dominguez will make his second trip to Triple-A Tacoma. Dominguez was hitting .213 with two homers and four RBI.

Nate Tenbrink has been reinstated from the disabled list after being hit in the head by a pitch on May 26th in Carolina. Tenbrink missed 17 games with a concussion and returns to the Jaxx. Tenbrink was 0-for-2 in two at-bats for West Tenn. While with Class A High Desert, Nate was hitting .379 with 10 2B, 9HR and 42RBI.

The Jaxx meet the Chattanooga Lookouts tonight for a double-header and begin a six-game series in five days at Pringles Park. The Diamond Jaxx trail Tennessee by 2.5 games with six games to play in the first half. The Smokies will take on Mobile, in Mobile for a five game series starting tonight.
