Portland Lumberjax News Release
PORTLAND, February 5, 2008 - The Portland LumberJax have signed defenseman David Morgan to the practice roster, as was announced today by Head Coach/General Manager Derek Keenan.
The brother of Jax defenseman Richard Morgan and forward Peter Morgan, the 6'10", 269 lb. physical force will begin his third stint with the Jax. In 2006, Morgan appeared in six games, scoring one goal and adding one assist. Morgan signed a one-year deal with the Jax on November 12, 2007, but was subsequently traded to the San Jose Stealth on December 7, 2007 for a fourth round selection in the 2009 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft.
San Jose later released Morgan before he was signed to the Jax practice roster. Now under contract, Morgan once again becomes the tallest player in the NLL.
