Bandits Acquire Andrew Lazore From Chicago

BUFFALO, N.Y. (February 5, 2008) -- Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Dave Zygaj announced today the Bandits have acquired forwards Andrew Lazore and Rusty Kruger from the Chicago Shamrox in exchange for Buffalo's two second-round selections in the 2008 Entry Draft.

Lazore has appeared in two games for the Shamrox and has one assist on the season. The 26-year-old Akwesasne, Ontario native spent the 2006 and 2007 seasons with the Arizona Sting, where he racked up a career high five points (2+3) in three games. Rusty Kruger, a 32-year-old Guelph, Ontario native has not appeared in a game for Chicago this season.

The Bandits will next square off against the Calgary Roughnecks at the Sears Centre on Friday, Feb. 8. Game time is scheduled for 9:30 p.m.

Buffalo's next home game will be Sat., Feb. 16 against the Minnesota Swarm. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $19 to $29.
