Jarrail Jackson signed to Tulsa Talons

The af2 League Office has officially assigned WR/DB Jarrail Jackson, to the Tulsa Talons. The 2008 football season marks Jackson's 6th year in the af2, he is returning to the Talons after playing for various teams throughout the af2 and AFL leagues.
Jackson (5-10, 185 lbs) played in 10 games for the Manchester Wolves before re-joining the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz in 2007. While at Manchester he led the team in kick returns (470 yards), in field goal returns (79 yards) and ranked second in all-purpose yards with 1,199. Jackson finished the 2007 season playing in four games as an OKC Yard Dawg.
At OKC, Jackson recorded 96 yards rushing, 29 receptions for 327 yards and scored 92 points, ranking him the third player in af2 history to score 900 career points. He also became the af2 all-time leader for kickoff returns for touchdowns with 15. Jackson was an active member of the 2006 and 2005 Yard Dawgz roster.
"We are extremely excited about bringing Jarrail back to Tulsa to play for us this season. His abilities and experience are going to be a real asset for the Talons. I'm looking for him to be one of our true leaders on the team in '08", said Head Coach Mitch Allner. Jackson spent part of three seasons (2003-2005) in the Arena Football League playing for both the Buffalo Destroyers and Austin Wranglers. Prior to his AFL experience he was an active player for the Tulsa Talons of the af2.
Jackson was a four-year letter winner at the University of Oklahoma, where he ranks second in school history with 1,238 punt return yards. He played in 46 games as a Sooner and earned third team All-Big 12 honors his senior year, finishing his career with 8 OU receiving and return records.
