Frederick Keys News Release
Frederick, MD - Trenton Jamison knocked his first two home runs of the season among an eight RBI night, as the Keys held off a late Trenton comeback in a marathon 18-15 win.
The Thunder struck first with a Max Giordano homer, but Jamison tied the game back up at three with a three-run blast. Two innings later he knocked a two-run shot. He also had an RBI double and two run single on his night.
The Keys offense really took off with an eight run fourth inning. This included RBI hits from Kirkland Banks and Drew Reckart, and a three-run home run from Keylon Mack.
In the bottom of the eighth, the Keys got huge insurance with a five-run inning that included Jamison's two run single as well as a two run double from Johnny Kampes. This would prove big as Trenton would score five in the ninth, but the Keys were able to strand the tying run on-deck to hold on for the 18-15 win.
